The store is operated by Bancroft Press, an independent publishing house.
The store initially offers physical books, including A Series of Opinionated Animals by Michelle Lerner.
2. Products
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, pricing, availability, and other information displayed on the store are accurate.
Minor differences may occur between product images and physical products.
Product availability may change without notice.
3. Pricing
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
The listed price for the hardcover edition of A Series of Opinionated Animals is $27.95.
Shipping charges are separate and displayed during checkout.
Applicable taxes are calculated and displayed as required.
Bancroft Press reserves the right to correct pricing errors and may cancel an order placed at an incorrect price where permitted by applicable law.
4. Orders
When you place an order, you are submitting a request to purchase the selected products.
An order confirmation indicates that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted or that the product is available for shipment.
Bancroft Press reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including cases involving suspected fraud, pricing errors, inventory problems, or other circumstances permitted by law.
If an order is canceled after payment has been received, the applicable amount will be refunded.
5. Payment
Payment must be successfully processed before an order is fulfilled.
Payments are processed through the payment methods made available during checkout.
Customers should never send payment-card information or account credentials through informal communications.
6. Shipping
Shipping charges are calculated separately and displayed at checkout.

Bancroft Press is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, natural events, incorrect customer information, or circumstances outside its reasonable control, subject to applicable law.

Returns and refunds are governed by the Refund & Return Policy.

8. Partner Organizations and Promotional Codes
Bancroft Press may operate a partner program with participating animal-protection organizations.
Participating organizations may provide customers with unique promotional or discount codes.
Eligible purchases attributed to a participating organization may be included in that organization's partner revenue-share calculation.
The customer discount and partner revenue share are separate arrangements.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Partner customers may receive a 15% discount using the applicable partner code.
- Bancroft Press calculates the applicable partner share based on eligible merchandise sales after the applicable discount and excluding taxes and shipping.
- Partner payments are made directly by Bancroft Press on a quarterly basis.
- Shopify does not make partner payments on Bancroft Press's behalf.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, designs, product content, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Bancroft Press or the applicable rights holder unless otherwise indicated.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, publish, or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.
Book content remains protected by applicable copyright and other intellectual-property laws.
